My work navigates the tension between reality and perception, capturing fractured moments of urban life where the familiar becomes strange. I am drawn to the fleeting, the overlooked—scenes marked by human presence. Through painting and photography, I reshape reality, layering beauty with imbalance, precision with distortion. My images remain open-ended, inviting viewers to complete their own narratives, to question, to engage. By weaving classical aesthetics with digital influences, I explore the delicate interplay between connection and alienation, order and chaos. In breaking the logic of reality’s appearance, I create visual disruptions that challenge perceptions, provoke thought, and suggest new ways of seeing.

1998-2003 Graduated in Visual Arts – Painting from the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
2003 Attended the Statens Kunstakademi – Oslo, Norway.
2004 Studied Advanced Photography at the Portuguese Association of Photographic Art, Lisbon.
