TOUCH | Interrupted

Our understanding of the world has become enslaved in the consumption of images. But today the Image unfolds in an urgency of multiplicity. We are forced to the extreme exercise of translating human relationships to take place on screens, as far as technology allows. The use of image goes beyond Seeing, as it must be an invitation to Touch.
The aim of this project is to promote empathy. Coexistence, communication and touch were severely affected. We were still learning how to dissolve discrimination, incomprehension and fear of the foreign and the unknown, and now we must keep distance even from our loved ones.

Touch was interrupted.

There is an urgency to feel connection through images. We feel the urge to create images of touch and proximity, a place of meeting and being together. It is an expression of community and an essential phenomenon to design the future of touch. So, here we are again, making space for expression, finding a new meaning for our intimacy, neutralising what was before, and presenting the future with pride.
Exposing intimacy, we are activists for closeness, empathy and contact in a future doomed by social distance.
